There are many ancient secrets behind the science of manifesting.  The first is that NOTHING is by coincidence or accident in this world.  Everything you experience is a manifestation from your thoughts, intentions, and at the level your bodymind is vibrating.  We attract and create our experience based upon these three things.

When you have trained your mind to hold ONE desired outcome for 60 seconds, it'll manifest twice as fast as if you held it for 30 seconds. So how long can you hold one thought for? Our ability to hold an intention towards something we want for a longer period of time depends on our ability to quiet the mind and dive into our personal connection to the divine Universal Source. To learn how to set a powerful intention we must first understand what an intention is. An intention is a profound mindbody decision to do, be or have something in your future. It is a mixture of a strong feeling of commitment, resolve, and purposefulness as if there is some secret sacred contract between you and the Universe about WHO you are going to become tomorrow. It is from this sacred contract that an inner knowingness comes through allowing your desired outcome to manifest for you!

When you set a powerful intention you are proclaiming to the Universe that you have said "NO" to your inner doubter and skeptic, and made your mind firm upon what you really want! You can FEEL your desired outcome has already occurred on some level, and you are completely unattached to WHEN it will occur. You prefer it manifests at a certain time, yet you are not demanding it do so. The most powerful intentions are founded in trust that the Universe is supporting your highest good.

This trust leads to a deeper realization that you are a magical manifesting being by nature and all desires will manifest at the right time. As you trust the Universe and yourself, you know your desire is already on its way. You also know that the Universe will give you signs along the path to guide you around the road blocks and distractions.

How can distractions empower your intentions? Distractions are a natural part of life. Without them we wouldn't get the spark of creativity, or propose any revolutionary ideas of how we can evolve as a spiritual being in this world. Distractions help us to WAKE UP and create more awareness inside. When we are free from distractions we can experience a great alignment with the Universe and FEEL how intimately we are connected with this Universe. Most people just wish something would change. They send out wishy-washy energy with their words, thoughts and feelings, thus they get back mediocre results and feel like a failure because they "tried" and worked soooo hard to manifest their dreams. When you are focused, clear and passionate about your desires (and non-attached to the outcome of your actions) you'll see the Universe magically respond to each of your requests. In fact, once you start on this path, it only becomes easier and easier to manifest that which moves you forward towards your goal.

The truth is we are made up of pure energy, intelligence and consciousness. Everybody and everything around you consists of these three aspects. Yes even quantum physics has proven that the signs on the street have a certain level of "aliveness" in their subatomic matter. Your consciousness and energy extends out ALL around you and touches everything, even if it's miles away. Have you ever felt like someone was thinking about you and suddenly the phone rings and it's THEM? Everything in the Universe is intimately connected on a very deep energetic and spiritual level. This also means you are connected to who you’ll be the moment your greatest dream manifests itself in the distant or near future.

The Real question now for you is... what do you really want to manifest? What are those desires you have not told ANYONE about? What secret intentions do you even keep from yourself, your mate, or from the Universe? Give yourself permission to remember them. Allow yourself to feel them again. Let your desires that you thought were impossible resurface and show their face again! Why do this? Because without following your core desires we are lost. Desire breeds direction. When you know what you want to manifest and how you can manifest it, you can relax! You’ll feel a release of doubt, and replace it with a sense of relief. For today, I invite you to begin the process of attracting what you want into your life faster and easier. First, start by deciding what you REALLY WANT to manifest and practice holding that thought AS IF it already manifested. Hold that thought for longer amounts of time everyday this week. See if you can hold it for 30 minutes! Set the intention to make time for yourself this week to enjoy yourself and your life.

Intention Homework To Manifest Absolute Success!!

1. Determine what you want to attract to you. Do you want a new job? What kind of job? Do you want more money? How much money? Do you want more peace in your life? Just pick one goal or desire that you would like to manifest. Remember to pick something that you are passionate about and fully desire.

2. Write it down on a piece of paper!  90% of people don't write down their desires, and yes 90% of people have difficulty manifesting what they want! Describe the goal in as much detail as possible. Be very specific. For instance, "I want a new career in sales where I make at least $150,000, and work with supportive and fun people!"

3. Now state your intention in an affirming sentence which is written in present tense. An example of a sentence could be "I am now earning $150,000 a year in sales and loving it!!". Write this sentence on a post-it or note card. Then post it different places at work and at home where you can read it often such as on your bathroom mirror, or on your computer.

4. Repeat this sentence out loud every morning (7 to 10 times). FEEL and VISUALIZE it, experience it as if it's already happened! This sets a deeper intention in your subconscious mind, and creates a heighten sense of awareness and purpose towards manifesting this result.

5. Keep doing step #4 until you manifest your goal. Act as if you could easily do this exercise for an eternal period of time.

Have you ever wondered why one person walking down a dark alley at night will get mugged while the previous person goes by untouched?  Bad things happen to apparently "good" people and good things happen to seemingly "bad" people all based upon the level of energy that they are vibrating at.

You are like a radio tower that is constantly transmitting a certain frequency into the Universe.  Your thoughts and feelings create an energetic vibration that is sent out into the world.  This vibration is then reflected back to you by the Universe, producing physical results in your personal world.

The truth is that we are always creating something.  Whether you are manifesting what you want or what you don't want depends on the level of your vibration.  We are like manifesting magnets!  We attract what mirrors our feelings and thinking patterns. So what we send out is EXACTLY what we get back!

For example, when we are full of joy, gratitude, or excitement, we tend to send out a high frequency energy, which in turn magnetizes back high frequency experiences like great opportunities, spiritual experiences, positive-minded people, empowering clients, abundant accounts, etc.  On the other hand, when we send out the energy of doubt, frustration, or fear, we tend to magnetize challenging experiences that we don't want.  So all you need to do in order to be successful is to constantly emit high frequency vibrations which will attract your desires to you!
 
The greatest truth is that you already are a manifesting machine!   You cannot stop manifesting.  We do so everyday!  The real question is... are you creating what you WANT, or stuck in creating what you DON'T WANT?  Whatever you are focusing on is what you will manifest!  If you are constantly thinking about how you wish you had a million dollars that's exactly what you will get...a wish.

1. Set a very strong and specific intention from your heart about what you want to manifest.  The more specific your desire is, the more specific your results will be.  Vague goals create wishy-washy results.  A powerful intention is a true desire that comes from the heart, free from any “shoulds” or “have to’s”.   It feels empowering and freeing to focus on this outcome and you can visualize it manifesting for you. To set a strong intention, make a declaration to the Universe out loud that THIS is what you are manifesting!

2. Detach from the outcome and allow yourself to receive what you want or something better.  This step can be the most difficult trap in manifesting, since the trick is to use less effort and more trust.  Detaching is basically setting your Ego (who you think you are) aside and trusting the Universe completely.  How do you focus on what you want without getting attached to results and trying to make it happen?  The secret is to learn how to release expectations, which are fear-based projections of the mind, and trust that the Universe has already provided the perfect avenue for its manifestation.  This allows you as the receiver to let the desired outcome or experience come to you!  

3. Hold onto the exciting and empowering feeling that what you want to manifest is already here now!  This is a balancing act between being non-attached to the outcome, and exploring the FEELING of the desired result as if it has already happened.  The longer you can hold onto the feeling, the faster it will show up in your life.  Your manifested dream will soon fall right in your lap when you least expect it.

There is something magical about releasing thoughts we are overly attached to. Think about those thoughts/feelings you cannot get rid of, the ones that seem to dominate your entire life, creating internal (and external) chaos. Notice whatever it is that you are attached to (or avoiding) is what's causing you the most suffering in your life right now.

Letting go of feelings or judgments that impede on our energy can actually change our entire understanding of reality. Check it out, you'll see. Maybe it's an idea of what's going to happen in your future, or perhaps an event that occurred in the past. If you wish to experiment with this and begin to release it, first look at what the mind is actually attached to (or avoiding) then take full responsibility for creating it. Watch the thoughts closely every time they come up, yet choose to remain undisturbed at your core...by being aware of your attachment and avoidance of it.

Can you think of anything in the world worth staying attached to? Maybe a good marriage, a solid income, a beautiful home and/or your children? Perhaps these seem good, yet notice what happens to you if those good things go away or change? We start clinging in quiet desperation.

Non-attachment doesn't mean indifference, rather its a state of total freedom in which you are the ultimate choice-maker in your life. Yet the mind has this nasty habit of clinging to everything it thinks gives you pleasure and consistently is getting attached to ideas of "the way it was" OR "the way it will be" and thus missing out on "the way it is right now".

So exactly what is YOUR mind attached to?

If you could release all of your attachments, you could actually find inner peace and happiness in ANY situation you'd get into. Imagine that. What if your life depended on being able to find inner peace and happiness in EVERY situation you are in. Doesn't it already? What would be the first thing you would practice releasing from your thinking tomorrow morning? Be aware...sometimes if you think TOO hard, its difficult to know what we're really attached to or avoiding in our life.

The Universe in all its majesty, has devised an amazing plan for us. Everyday it makes sure that we are constantly reminded through various degrees and levels of suffering the things we are overly-attached to. So thank God for suffering! If pain didn't exist at all, we really wouldn't know what true pleasure would be. And without suffering, we'd all be an ignorant unconscious mess! The body's suffering tells us when to loosen up and relax more about life. It also can show us what to let go of and even how. If you get headaches, its saying you may need to chill out that over-worked thinking machine and spend 20 minutes in a deeper quiet and peaceful space inside you.

There is an art to enjoying suffering. The secret is to not be attached to ANY suffering as it occurs. Thinking about whatever you don't have, or what you want to have yet don't have yet, creates this tension in the body. You notice it? The more aware you become of it the more you'll begin to understand the thinking program that is creating it. Pain has a reason for being there, to awaken the mind from it's delusions. It really is a good thing, without ANY tension we would be lost, no compass to guide the map. Stress and suffering give us direction and dimension to our existence. They make life more real and even extraordinary.

You'll see, when you're not avoiding or attached to anything, your life will flow amazingly free and easy. Using your body as the suffering-indicator, you can practice releasing your attachment to the future/past thought and see how your relaxation level changes. Yet I must warn you, the mind is in a very deep habit. It will continue to seek the external world for happiness and forget where it truly resides (in the now) until it deeply unlearns what it's already learned.

Eventually after enough releasing of your mind's attachments, you will come to this deeper "knowing" that you are not your mind. Then your mind immediately stops being the one creating suffering in your life, and you become the master of your reality. What a great deal eh? That's enlightenment! Our minds however, being the amazingly smart machines that they are, want to be in charge and be right about EVERYTHING. Which simply means more attachments for you to release, yet also more enlightenment to come into your life.

As you may realize by now, there is extremely powerful quality about our mind. If you notice everything around you is something that was man-made and came from someone's mind, you might agree that it's the most powerful thing in the world. It is a wild thing. I see it as this 3D holographic movie, detailed in 360 degrees of 5 sense perception and pure imagination that is our tool for manifesting our dreams.

However many hours, days, years or lifetimes the mind tries to understand the truth, it will always be somehow limiting itself. Who we really are (a spirit) is much too vast for the mind to grasp. Infinite is way beyond its comprehension. Yet as spiritual beings we are truly limitless and our minds cannot fathom the degree of freedom and fulfillment our souls contain. So naturally it creates attachments to things it thinks will result in pleasure. Ice cream, rollercoaster rides, sexual fantasies, extreme financial abundance and even more adrenaline to spend it with. Our Mind/Ego wants it ALL. And shouldn't be afraid to settle for anything less.

So HOW do I practice releasing this attachment and suffering? Simple. There's a meditation exercise below that will help you to focus on releasing those overly addicted thoughts, desires and sufferings instantaneously. I'm convinced that after 3 days of this exercise you will experience a considerable difference in feeling a new sense of personal freedom. Before doing this exercise, be aware however of what your mind is expecting to happen. Another attachment. Just have fun and become engaged in the experience, and practice accepting whatever your experience is, as it occurs.

How to achieve Goals With Ease

may have at your command, and better tools will be

I suggested that you set aside a day this week to create a dream list of goals for the next 6 months of your life. Then design a picture of your goals by doing a collage, or dream board about what you want to manifest. Put words, pictures and symbols that represent what you MOST desire to BE, DO and/or HAVE! Next enlist a friend or coach to support you in achieving your dreams. Since many people have a tough time accomplishing goals due to self-doubt, lack of motivation, or external roadblocks that appear insurmountable, a supportive friend or coach will definitely assist you in making your goals happen! We do not raise our manifesting vibration alone. Use the resources that are right in front of your nose!

Make the rest of your life highly successful

 by applying these six AMAZING secrets:

1. Harness the power of your mind. Your thoughts create your reality. What you think about grows because that is where you focus your energy. Everything that exists today was once a thought in somebody's mind. This thought became reality through taking action in a focused way. So in order to achieve your goals, you must believe in your ability to successfully reach your goals. One effective way of doing this is to create a positive sentence about accomplishing the goal. Make sure that the sentence is in present tense, and includes the word "I". Some examples are " I built a successful $100,000 a year business", "I am at my ideal weight of 125 pounds", "I wrote a best-selling novel", etc.. Program your mind with this goal by repeating this sentence out loud or to yourself as you go through your day.

2. Break your goals into small manageable action steps. Many people do not accomplish a goal because it feels overwhelming, and they think it requires too much work. Take a sheet of paper, and write down every single step you need to do to accomplish this goal. Make the list as detailed as possible. This exercise helps your mind see how you are going to achieve your goal, making it feel manageable and easy.

3. Assign dates and times to every step. Remember that we always think we can accomplish things faster than we actually can. So give yourself lots of extra time when making up this schedule. Make an appointment with yourself to do these action steps by scheduling them into your day timer. Honor this appointment just like you would honor an appointment with your boss or your most valuable client. You must take time for yourself or your dreams will never materialize.

4. Applaud yourself along the way. At the end of each day, take some time to praise yourself for what you have accomplished. Acknowledging your wins helps keep you motivated, and makes you feel good. If you don't accomplish what you want to do on a specific day, acknowledge why that happened and schedule it for the next door. Instead of criticizing yourself for not getting something done, praise yourself for rescheduling it and for having the continued desire to achieve your goals.

5. Become Unstoppable. Many people give up on a goal when they encounter difficulties or obstacles. You no longer have to fall prey to the "I give up" sickness. Begin today to adopt an unstoppable attitude. How do you do this? First, you proclaim each day that you are unstoppable, and that you can achieve whatever you set your mind to achieving. Remember what you focus on is what you create. Secondly, instead of viewing a difficulty as a roadblock you can see it as an opportunity. How can you transform this problem into something that supports you? Make solving the problem fun. For instance, you could get together with some friends and do some brainstorming, you could take a walk and think about it, or you could set the intent of receiving the answer in a dream, etc.. When you are feeling blocked, remember that there is always a solution waiting to be discovered, and allow other people to help you discover it.

6. Celebrate Your Success. Set up some intermediate goals along the way, and celebrate once you have accomplished them. For instance, you could go to your favorite restaurant, do a week-end get-a-way, throw a party, buy yourself something special, get a massage, etc... Celebration allows you to enjoy your success, and helps motivate you to continue moving forward towards your final goal.

Think Success to Create Success

Your thoughts create your reality. What you think about grows because that is where you focus your energy. Everything that exists today was once a thought in somebody's mind. This thought became reality through taking action in a focused way. So in order to create success in the world, we must first develop thought patterns that are aligned with our vision of success.

A human mind generates approximately 60,000 thoughts per day, and many of them are the same thoughts as yesterday. How many new thoughts do you have per day? Do you spend your time recycling the same old thoughts, or do you continuously fill your mind with new ideas? In order to bring about positive change in your life, you must create new empowering thought patterns in your brain. Old thoughts just create the same old thing, while new thoughts can create success in any area of your life.

What thoughts are currently controlling your life? Do you know what you spend the most time thinking about? If you are dissatisfied with some part of your life or some personal habit or behavior, you must first become aware of the thought patterns that are creating your current state of dissatisfaction. Most people are not aware of their thoughts, and do not realize that they have the ability to change their thought patterns at any moment. You can easily shift any mental pattern if you truly desire change and take the necessary action steps. Below, I have outlined a process that allows you to gain awareness of your mental chatter, and to shift into supportive beliefs and thoughts.

There are basically two movements of consciousness:
Love and Fear. Love is allowing what is and fear is resisting it.

Weekly action steps to success!!

1. Find out what thoughts are flying around in your mind by writing down all of your thoughts for the next three to four days. Buy a small notepad and keep it with you at all times. Then, jot down your thoughts as they occur. This is an amazing exercise because it allows you to obtain a clear picture of your mind.

2. Observe how your thoughts have created your present reality. Examine something that you have accomplished in your life, and notice what thoughts you used to make this happen. Here is a personal example to illustrate this exercise. Margot and I ran the Bolder Bolder 10k race last year. In order for this to occur, we created thoughts such as "I know I can easily run 10K". We also used thought patterns to help us get outside and train for the Bolder Bolder. Some of these thoughts were "I feel great when I run", and "My legs are automatically moving forward". While we were training, we would say these sentences over and over to ourselves, and one day they became automatic. Since Margot was a teenager, she had a completely different mental pattern around running that supported the idea that she was a terrible runner, and was not capable of running in any race! As a result of the reprogramming, she did not walk or stop during the entire race! Even if you have a negative thinking pattern for years, it will change when you decide to change all thought patterns around this part of your life.

3. Take your list of thoughts and separate them into two columns; one that supports your goals, and one that does not help you create your dreams.

4. Take the list that does not support you, and rewrite these thoughts into positive ones. For example, "I am unorganized" would be shifted to "I easily organize everything in my life".  Language is important when re-writing these sentences. Remember to use the present tense, and avoid using the future tense.

5. Prioritize the list of new thoughts in order of importance. Which new thought would have the most positive impact on your life? What part of your life do you want to shift first?

6. Take the top choice, and begin to integrate it into your life. The best way of doing this is by creating reminders that can help your mind focus on the new thought. Develop visual reminders by writing your new thought on a card, and posting it around your house or/and office. You can also enlist a friend to help remind you of the new thought form that you are creating. You can ask him or her to notice if your communication reflects any of the old unwanted thoughts, and then gently point this out to you. Sometimes we are operating under the influence of old patterns without even being conscious of it due to deeply ingrained habits. Please remember to choose a friend who knows how to communicate with love and compassion. When learning something new, it is important to surround yourself with supportive people who do not tear you down if you unconsciously fall back into old patterns.

7. Applaud yourself for each step you take towards making your new thought an integral part of your thinking patterns. Be gentle with yourself if you find yourself reverting back to old thoughts. Remember that it sometimes takes time to shift, and that's OK.


  

How to Be Free from Right and Wrong

Since I have been coaching and giving psychic information to others for the past 7 years, many people have asked me during this time, "Is this the right path to take?" or "Should I do this instead of that?"  It was always difficult to say which decision was right or wrong for them, not because they might make the "wrong" decision, but because I knew there was a more enlightening approach to the question they were asking.

 

Many of us are caught in believing that if we can make the right decisions, stay on the "good" path and off the "bad" path, we will be rewarded in some way or find ourselves living in a better place in our lives.  This may be true to some degree, yet in the grand plan of our soul and its unlimited journey there is no absolute right or wrong.  The soul is much more advanced than the mind (and ego) in that it knows that all decisions and paths can lead to freedom, a deeper experience of love and even enlightenment.

As a child I remember going to the fast food chains frequently with my parents standing in line and wondering what I was going to order when it was our turn at the counter.  My parents were standing there asking me repetitively, what I wanted, if I made a decision, and if I knew what I was hungry for.  I knew that had to decide QUICK or I wasn't going to eat anything.  More often than we are aware of, our decisions as adults contain this kind of deep hidden pressure and stress to make the "right" decision or else we will not survive.

 

The fact is that this "right or wrong" conditioning from our parents, T.V., and societal consciousness is already embedded in our own thinking patterns.  We all have this inner feeling of pressure inside, to constantly do, say and think the "right" things, which has caused us to forget the real and important destination of this lifetime.  This societal tension has created such a disconnection with our own bodies that we don't know what we want, and feel an absence of the REAL thing we are truly hankering or yearning for inside.  There are so many decisions and choices to be made everyday that we forget the greatest and most obvious one that is here and now.

What we all are searching for is an unlimited unending connection with a real feeling of Universal love.  The truth is that all moments in life, good or bad, contain the possibility of finding this love within.  The real goal of every soul is to live in this love, by realizing it is connected to this infinite source of love.  What the mind has forgotten is that EVERY situation and decision (right or wrong) has the POTENTIAL to lead us into this Self-realized and God-realized space.  From this place there is no worry, stress or fear about doing the right or wrong thing.  From this state of being you cannot make a "wrong" decision.

The mind is a funny thing in that it is always trying to find a better way to having more things, making your life better and getting there faster.  It is soooo deeply rooted in this NEED to be in control of your life, and create everything in the way it thinks it should be.  This neediness to be in control ALL the time is what is creating ALL the suffering in your life.  Once we realize that it does not matter so much what we decide, do, or say as much as how connected we FEEL inside, years and even lifetimes of suffering will instantly and completely fade away.

The only way to discover this place of freedom is to look deeper within.  Go beyond the mind and our programming around what is "right and wrong" and simply look at what is at the source of here and now.  To go inside of ones Self means to drop the outer world completely, and discover that this Universal Love is abundantly within!  This takes tremendous focus, courage and determination to break free from the situations you believe are outside (and inside) of you.  These relationships seem as if "they" are the ones creating your suffering, where the truth is we are totally responsible and have the power to decide where we want it would go.

Any human being can awaken to the truth that they are a master in disguise. It's simply someone who consciously chooses to respond to life, rather than react. When someone decides that they have experienced enough suffering, they often dive through a tremendous "LET GO" experience, and develop a deeper surrender to existence when bigger situations occur.

This deeper let go is caused by a sudden re-alignment and internal shift within their being, because they choose to flow with ALL their outer situations rather than fight, bicker and resist them. Another quality of a stress free awakened being is that he/she knows no destination other than Now. They experience no hesitation, procrastination or postponement of their life, ever! SECRET #1 - QUIET THE MIND

The awakened being knows the GREATEST secret to living a stress-free life is having a quiet clear mind that is FULL of PURE awareness. There is something beyond language where thoughts are coming from. In this newsletter let's call this place The Essence of your being. Really stop your "I don't know" programming and look...what is this essence? Is it who you really are?

The Essence is indescribable bliss. It is too big (and too small) for the Mind/Ego to grasp. However this is the same Essence that has always been known to be "you", and will always be "you"...forever. It is that inner-most space in yourself that knows you more intimately than you know it. When a knowingness of this essence becomes solid inside, distracting thoughts have no more power over you.

The one question that I hear from people over and over again is HOW do I get in touch with this essence? You may ask this especially if you are faced with a really difficult situation. When the mind is too chaotic and contains way too many distracting thoughts and feelings, we become lost in the whirlpool of ideas. To find safe ground and get in touch with your essence is to slow down, breathe and relax, focus your attention inside for a few minutes and then be curious as to what this essence really is. The more you are reminded however to look within and can remember to what it's like to be in peace the easier life becomes.

Another factor involved with going beyond the mind/ego is a willingness to be open and to be wrong about who you thought you were in the past. The more "wrong" you can be about what isn't working in your life, the more likely you'll discover this amazing essence inside. The trick here is to maintain an open mind. This includes having an open heart and the desire to experience something bigger than anything you've previously experienced in life. It takes 100% of yourself, trusting the awakening process and the experiences you are having that are all here to enlighten you to the infinite essence of your being.

When we practice "looking in" everyday, our experiences become deeper. The mind loses its grasp on what it previously locked into as a stuck thinking pattern and a shift occurs. Your old habits of tension are transformed into these amazing teachers about your programs. This constant focus on the essence of your being is our one way ticket to freedom!

If you already know all of this information and nothing seems to have changed about your level of suffering in life, it's because your mind is playing a tremendous game with YOU and you are caught in your story. The mind creates these illusions (all the time) that say we can acquire happiness through something in the outer world. If I can just have that Mercedes Benz then I'll feel better! The peace and happiness which we are habitually caught seeking in the outer world, is always temporary and short lived...a pay raise, chocolate ice cream, a romantic kiss, an orgasm.

The mind is in a deep habit, in fact it is a habit. "Once I get that money, my perfect car, new house and that soul mate relationship, THEN I will be happy!! Please Universe, I'll do anything if I can have my desire!" The mind LOVES to think, and thinks only in a linear fashion, A+B=C. The truth is the mind is NEVER satisfied once it gets what it wants. It is never satisfied. Sure you feel great for an hour, a whole day, or a month (if you're on a roll), yet at some point the mind goes back into looking out there again for happiness. Craving, lusting and yearning for happiness and inner peace outside of your body...now how silly is that? When will the mind ever learn? By continuously reaching out there, eventually enough suffering happens that it surrenders the search and gives in...to the essence of your being.

The greatest thing to remember in those difficult situations is that the mind is creating these illusions of happiness as well as the illusions of suffering, struggle and unfulfillment in our bodies. The mind works like a mirror. It only knows how to reflect ALL the thoughts that happen to it. When we get attached to thinking we (ego) are creating these thoughts we miss the essence of our being.

All thoughts are just thoughts. They are not good or bad, dark or light, until the mind places that good or bad judgment/vibration on them. All thoughts arise from the infinite source and essence of our being (your soul) and are each the greatest of teachers we truly have.

The reason so many people are trapped and stuck in the thoughts of their mind is that the mind appears to be conscious yet it is not. It also appears to be in a negative or positive state, but its not. It's just a mirror, reflecting positive and negative thoughts. It's never 100% stuck forever in a thought. Rather the mirror has just forgotten that it's a mirror and can only reflect the thoughts that arise.

Once we realize and know that our mind is this perfect mirror, we will NEVER get stuck or attached to thoughts that drive us into suffering. The negative and positive experiences just happen to us and float on by after we experience them. They stop appearing to be who we are this tremendous freedom suddenly happens. We find that each thought is merely bouncing off of our mirror, we are experiencing it, seeing it, hearing it, yet distinctively unattached to it and unaffected. It's like clouds passing through the sky. The clouds no matter how dark or light they are cannot cling to the sky, because there is really nothing to cling to.

How does one KNOW they are in this sky of consciousness and tapped into The Essence of their being? Many qualities we experience are a deep expansiveness, a pervading inner peace, constant relaxation, total surrender, a knowing of your inner-most truth and an amazing lightness about all of life.

The fact is every one of us is here to experience ourselves as an amazing divine all powerful being. You are here on Earth to awaken to the greatest Truth there is! It doesn't matter how smart you are, how dumb you were, how many tests you passed, emotions you've suppressed or that you've messed up your entire life! The opportunity is to learn NOW that you are free. Free to co-create a blissful pain free life! Suffering will continue to happen, it is a natural part of the learning process of life. This choice however is whether you wish to continue participating in it's dramatic illusion.

Prepare yourself to spend 15-20 minutes
by yourself being quiet inside.
Practice sitting with your back vertical and relaxed.

Mind mastery is something we all would like to achieve, yet it's probable that only a few of us actually will. And why is that? Mastering the mind is like training 50 wild untamed horses with only one good rope and some sturdy cowboy boots. It takes a raw willingness to face the impossible each day, to meet your worst demons and greet them with a courteous "Hi, how are you doing? Would you like some tea?". It means having an unshakable determination to move beyond every limitation and judgment you have and think is impossible to conquer. It takes the deepest commitment to yourself to find that brilliant Light inside yourself everyday and reveal the Truth that you are an Infinite Being, even in the most embarrassing situations. It takes a burning desire to know and experience that you're an eternal aspect of God (and God Consciousness) and have always been that!

If you're wondering how to do this, there is a KEY to mastering the mind. The KEY to mind mastery is finding the center of your body, mind and consciousness....and staying there. Being devoted to it, especially when those 50 crazy horses pull you towards that velvet rut that keeps you stuck in victimization, righteousness, or pretending to be powerless. Now how does one change such deeply embedded habits? With one amazing gift, the ability to surrender deeply and completely to Existence.

The un-enlightened mindset will think that a greater state of control and domination over the mind is obviously how one masters their mind. This is definitely not the case. Being the master of our mind is in fact when we are in our most relaxed, surrendered and receptive state. When we give up the battle and step back we can see the bigger picture. The moment we can see clearly, then EVERYTHING comes into a better perspective. It just so happens that we've spent lifetimes and lifetimes (not to mention this one) deeply attached to The Lie (our ego), trying to fix, change and control our lives (and others) with this mind and it's identity given to us.
 

I want to share something very personal with you. A very interesting thing happened to me the other night after a half-hour of deep meditation. I come to the realization that ALL the suffering I've experienced in my ENTIRE LIFE was attributed in some way to my attachment to the ideas, complaints, opinions, problems, and inherited issues of other people. I discovered that we human beings have an amazing ability to unconsciously (and naively) allow ourselves to be "infected" by other people's drama and past issues. Either we resist and try to block out their negativity, or we pretend it doesn't affect us.

I was trying to "help others" in some way by letting them vent their issues out to the Universe (hearing their victim story), while meanwhile submitting myself to the impact of their feelings of powerlessness, fear, and anxiety energetically. This energetic "suicide" is something that I've found is often encouraged in this society and often seen as the sign of someone who truly cares about you and is a good friend. We think "they must really care about us if they go along with our story."

So I asked myself, "What would my life be like if I was totally neutral and at peace with everyone's issues and victim stories?" Would I be felt and seen by others as a disconnected, cold, and insensitive human being? What if I choose to remain feeling warm and fuzzy inside, would I still appear to others as being cold, uncaring, and un-compassionate? I then realized that the REAL question here is not to ask "What's in it for me?", but instead "How can I help?"

That night something inside my energy began to shift. I began to be less attached to what other people were struggling with, and more aware of what I was struggling with. I noticed that "their issues" and "my issues" coincidently coincided. I was also noticing that the more deeply rooted I became in the center of my being, the easier it was for me to experience the negativity of other's issues. I found myself automatically diving deeper into the center of my being, not because I should dive deeper or thought I could "attain" some higher enlightened state by doing so, but because there really is no where else that to go to find The Truth that we are spiritual beings temporarily in human form.

Since we are all energetically inter-connected at the deepest of levels, it does make one wonder if "their" issues are always reflections of issues buried deeper within ourselves. If life is simply a grand multi-faceted mirror, and you truly know that all the people you meet are merely reflecting hidden aspects of your Self, how can you NOT choose to come from a more enlightened response when you see "others" sinking in their pits of sorrow, despair or terror? We are always working on ourselves (through others), so shouldn't we naturally just be in the most centered, compassionate and loving space possible inside?

So what does this have to do with Mind mastery? Mind mastery truly begins the moment we stop letting the reality the we are truly Infinite Beings slide on by. The fact is that the drama/trauma stories of the world are always going to be happening to us. This is never going to change until we are completely awake to our Infinite Divine Self. What we can do until that happens, is help each other remember that their issues/problems are simply based on a Lie (as well as our own). The Lie is that we are separate from the Infinite Source of power and consciousness (God).

The belief that we are separate from this Infinite Source of power is the grandest illusion in our life. It is the story we are VERY attached to, for it's means that we don't have to do anything incredible with our lives. It gives us the greatest excuse in the Universe. We can remain small, irresponsible for our lives and pretend like we didn't know any better. The Lie gives us the grand excuse for sitting on our butts for 80 years, complaining about the job we hate, the relationships that aren't working, and have an ignorant attitude to say, "I didn't create this!"

All suffering basically boils down to some perpetual story of our past victimization. Where we bought into the Lie that we were powerless, wrong and stupid (separate from God). It's this story that we've been unconsciously re-claiming ourselves to be WHO we are, and re-creating an emotional identity with for our entire lives.
